My heart is full of gratitude! You see last Jan 14, 2017, I was involved in a car accident. I broke my left femur, fractured my right ankle and right wrist, and blew out my left orbital plate. I spent 2 weeks at Sunnybrook Hospital and 4 weeks at Providence Healthcare.
Fast forward to today. I am now mostly walking without a cane and have started doing stairs again. I go to physio and massage 3 times a week. Slowly, I am gaining strength, but the road is still long.
However, there's plenty to be thankful for. I had so much wonderful support from my family, the Georgian community, and friends around the province. Their caring and the healing energies they sent my way propelled me forward (and still does today). Though I do have permanent injuries, I'm grateful to be alive and to participate in adventures like Extend East.
